Kimberly Boyle, DDS

Dr. Kimberly Boyle graduated from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 1987. From there, she moved to Virginia and worked as a part-time dental hygienist while she attended Virginia Commonwealth University. She was accepted to the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia and graduated in 1992. After completing her degree, Dr. Kim continued her education by receiving advanced training in dental specialties through the University of Maryland’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. Dr. Kim then joined a private practice career in Wyoming while she and Dr. Jay were stationed with the U.S. Air Force. In additional to her private practice, she was actively involved in the dental education instruction at Wyoming’s school for dental hygiene. Dr. Kim has remained active in dental advancements and often reaches out to local schools and senior homes to teach the importance of dental care. Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Dental Association and Richmond Dental Society.

Dr. Kim and her husband, Dr. Jay Boyle, combined their experience and skills to create their own practice in 2002. She has loved watching their practice grow as, together, they have provided personalized and compassionate care to their patients. Loyal patients and team members have made her work worthwhile.

Dr. Kim is an active volunteer and sponsor in local community events. She considers it a privilege and priority to provide her skills and support outside of the office to those who are in need. Over the years, Dr. Kim has been involved in a variety of events. She has opened her office to community children to provide dental care through the Give Kids a Smile program, provided charity care for the Mission of Mercy projects, worked with the Virginia Dental Association’s Donated Dental program to provide in-office dental care to less-fortunate residents, and worked with Operation Gratitude in the Annual Candy Buy Back program to provide care packages for our troops who are overseas. Dr. Kim also regularly volunteers at Mechanicsville Christian Center’s Mechanicsville Dental Clinic.

Not only does Dr. Kim volunteer in her community, but she and Dr. Jay also help support and provide for their local schools and students. Dr. Kim is pleased to support her children, David and Morgan, in their interests. She also enjoys being a financial sponsor for the Lee-Davis athletics groups and providing dental care to its athletes. With her husband, Dr. Kim established a scholarship for a high-school senior who was heading to college to pursue his or her interests in the dental profession; this scholarship will continue to be offered for more students in the years to come. Dr. Kim is pleased to be able to give back to the community who has welcomed and supported the Boyles and their practice.
